PROGRAM

In order for a student to graduate from Victory House Christian Academy she must progress through 4 levels of accomplishment

Cadet – Orientation

Bronze- Commitment to restoration

Silver- Life skills and trust building

Gold- accountable success

After entry as a Cadet, each level is achieved as the student earns 1500 points. Points are earned according to positive behaviors that are rewarded and points are lost from negative behaviors that are corrected. Each day the student has an opportunity to earn 16 points. The 1500 point level can be reached in approximately 3 months ( 95 days).

At each level the Director and the Parents will discuss privileges that will be given to the students as an opportunity to prove their ability to follow home rules and respect their parental authority.  Failure to be successful will result in extended time at Victory House Christian Academy. A student will also have successfully reached 6000 points upon completion of the Victory House Christian Academy.

IF A STUDENT DIGRESSES, LEVEL STATUSES CAN BE LOST resulting

in a longer stay at VHCA

Cadet Level

In the first 3 months of the program, students will have a 15 minute phone call once a week (which is shared between family members).  Students will earn trust based on behaviors and following the Center Rules.  Students are critiqued on 4 levels-Academically, Socially, Personal Responsibility and Spiritually . When a student has successfully reached 1500 points she will move to the Bronze Level.

Bronze Level

In the 3rd-6th month of the program, students will have a 20 minute phone call once a week (which is shared between family members).  Students will continue to earn trust based on behaviors and following the Center Rules.  Students are critiqued on 4 levels-Academically, Socially, Personal Responsibility and Spiritually. When a student has successfully reached 3000 points she will move to the Silver Level

Silver Level

In the 6th-9th month of the program, students will have a 25 minute phone call once a week (which is shared between family members).  Students will continue to earn trust based on behaviors and following the Center Rules. .

Students are critiqued on 4 levels- Academically, Socially, Personal Responsibility  and Spiritually . When a student has successfully reached 4500 points she will move to the Gold Level.

Gold Level

In the 9th-12th month of the program, students will have a 30 minute phone call once a week (which is shared between family members).  Students will continue to earn trust based on behaviors and following the Center Rules.  Although the student is still critiqued on 4 levels-Academically, Socially, Personal responsibility and Spiritually . The student is now off the point card and automatically given 16 points a day. At Gold level only demerit points are issued for negative attitudes and behaviors.   If the gold student loses 6 points in a weeks time then she is demoted back  to the silver  level for an amount of time that the Director / Administrator deems appropriate.  If the infraction is chronic or a major betrayal of trust, the Gold level will be remove completely and the student will be demoted to an appropriate level of her program to start again building trust.

NOTE  - If it seems appropriate  to all parties involved ( i.e. the student, the parent and the administration of VHCA)  the student MAY be allowed to serve a portion or all of her Gold level at home with all the rules of VHCA still  strictly enforced under  the parents supervision.
